Engine Light, Limp Mode Or Poor Running

For cars with warning lights, hesitation, rough running, smoke or repeat engine fault codes.
Llandow workshop, South Wales customers

A code tells us where to look, not what to buy

An engine fault code tells us where the ECU has seen a problem. It does not automatically prove which part should be fitted. We compare the code with how the car drives, live data and workshop checks.

This is the starting point for engine lights, limp mode, hesitation, poor running, sensor faults, boost faults and repeat codes. If the issue is more specific, we will route it to misfire, DPF, EGR, AdBlue or power-loss checks.

What happens next

You do not need to know the workshop term. Tell us the symptoms and we will explain whether the car needs servicing, fault-finding or repair work.

What we look at

  • Engine management light, EPC light, glow plug light or repeat stored codes.
  • Poor running, hesitation, limp mode, smoke, high fuel use or loss of power.
  • Sensor, fuelling, air leak, boost, emissions and ignition-related complaints.
  • Advice on whether the next step is repair, servicing or deeper fault-finding.
